Welcome to the 2026 RoadDocs Scavenger Hunt

From April 1 through June 15, 2026, we’re kicking off riding season the right way — by exploring North Carolina and checking off challenges along the way.

Step 1: Register

Sign up to join the hunt. After you register, you’ll receive a unique 4-digit ID number by email. This number is required in every single photo you submit.

Important:
Your ID must be physically present in the picture. It cannot be digitally added or edited in. Write it on paper, put it on your bike, get creative — just make sure it’s clear and visible so your points count.

Step 2: Review the Rules

Before you ride, take a few minutes to carefully read the official rules. Understanding how photos are scored, how miles are tracked, and how submissions work will help you maximize your points and avoid mistakes.

Step 3: Start Riding

You’ll complete challenges across North Carolina ranging from Easy to Hard:
        
          Easy – Can be completed almost anywhere

          Medium – Requires some travel

          Hard – Specific destinations and true riding goals

          Secret Locations — We’ll drop hints throughout the hunt. When you think you’ve figured one out, ride there and snap your photo!

Step 4: Track Your Miles

Points determine the winner — and the rider with the most points at the end wins.

In the event of a tie, the tiebreaker is total miles ridden during the hunt.

Be sure to submit:
          Beginning odometer reading
          Ending odometer reading

Every mile counts — and yes, you even earn points for submitting them.

Step 5: Submit and Watch the Leaderboard

Upload your photos, follow the scoring, and watch the points add up throughout the season.
